TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Departure at 5:30 am from the hotel in Palenque. At 7:30 am, we'll make a stop for breakfast, then continue to Lacanja Chansayab (a Lacandon community) where a Lacandon guide will be waiting for us to take a hike into the jungle to appreciate the flora and fauna of the area. We'll also visit waterfalls and the ruins of Lacanja. The hike lasts for 4 hours. After the hike, there's an opportunity to swim in one of the waterfalls recommended by the guide to cool off. Following the activity, lunch is included. Finally, we return to the city of Palenque, arriving at the hotel around 8:00 pm.
